Let’s Remind God of These Scriptures at Election Time

In this week before elections I think it is good for us to think on these Scriptures and to keep them in our minds:

The following are Scriptures from Proverbs, NKJV:

Proverbs 10:30     The righteous will never be removed;  But the wicked will not inhabit the earth.

Proverbs 11:3  The wicked will fall by his own wickedness.

Proverbs 11:21 Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished,  But the posterity of the righteous will be delivered.

Proverbs 11:29  The way of the Lord is strength for the upright, But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity.

Proverbs 12:7   The wicked are overthrown and are no more; But the house of the righteous will stand.

Proverbs 13:9  The light of the righteous rejoices, But the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

And then there is Psalm 125

Those who trust in the LORD
Are like Mount Zion,
Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the LORD surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest
On the land allotted to the righteous,
Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.
Do good, O LORD, to those who are good,
And to those who are upright in their hearts.
As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways,
The LORD shall lead them away
With workers of iniquity.
Peace be upon Israel!" NKJV
