Pakistan: Friend or Foe?

When did you buy towels last?  Look to see where they are made. If they are made in Pakistan, I walk away and leave them in the store.                 towels 1   towels 2

It is possible to find towels and sheets made in INDIA, they are a Democracy at least, and don’t harbor terrorists who are set on destroying Americans and America.

I have a question:  Does the USA send cotton and textiles to Pakistan so they can make towels which they sell back to us?  I wouldn’t be surprised.

Rand Paul is right.  And, I believe he and Trump know what they are doing.

UPDATE:  A source for MADE IN USA TOWELS just came in !!  ( 1/16/2018)

How To  Properly Solve The Health Insurance Quandary

                                         investigator                                   – Mary Adele LaClair

Does our car insurance pay for oil changes, lube jobs, paint, routine repairs, changing tires?  No.          car repair

Does our home owners insurance pay for re-painting the living room, porch, repair downspouts, fix leaks in the sink, replace a toilet or pave the driveway?  No.  repair man

All of the above are all out-of-pocket expenses even though we pay for insurance.

Car insurance and home insurances are intended for catastrophic events, accidents, unforeseen big events like floods, if you have flood insurance, tornadoes, etc.

Health insurance should operate just the same as other insurances. Health insurance had no problems when it operated that way in the past.  Problems came when some individuals were not thankful that they had no catastrophic events and wanted their money back by having insurance pay for office visits. Those with misguided compassion allowed healthy people to claim regular check-up’s, minor repairs, and office calls on insurance. dr OKThis encouraged greed at the bottom level and overcrowded the system: enter idea of co-pay.

Health insurance should NOT cover routine office visits. Office visits should be no different from car and home maintenance. THIS would fix the health care system. Health insurance should cover only NEEDED surgeries and prolonged stays in recuperative care centers.   Note, sex re-identification and other optional surgeries should not be covered by insurance, nor paid for by states for those incarcerated, as happened in California.

Many medical expenses necessary to a civil society could be lowered drastically.  For instance, too many college professors think they are the smartest people in the world but they are NOT.  Cutting college expenses and student loan debt for doctors and nurses, (well, for EVERYONE but we’re talking health care here) will enable young people to have out-of-pocket money for medical visits. We need to stop getting people so heavily indebted to government. This could be done by putting college professors on a more realistically moderate pay scale and by not making college textbooks so sinfully high priced.   college booksWe need to eliminate greed in America and it needs to start at the top.  greedtaj mahalMany college campuses are very high end and the youth are bearing this burden on their backs for years. This should not be. Cutting educational expenses would enable medical professionals to cut their prices to the point that patients could pay reasonable costs and not need insurance for routine maintenance. This alone will go a long way to fixing the health insurance problem. Government is not God and should stop trying to act like a god to everyone.

This four minute youtube video from Prager University says it well:

HISTORY WILL REMAIN – AND SO WILL ‘GONE WITH THE WIND’! The movie Gone With The Wind is a reminder of the terrible tragedy of a nation divided against itself in political and industry power struggles. It shows the heart wrenching truth of families divided against themselves, brother against brother, father against son in their […]

Here is another example of why the death penalty should be re-instated. A convicted criminal, not rehabilitated after serving 15 years of “life without parole”, escaped with a second criminal and killed two police officers. In addition he traumatized an elderly couple and then other civilians families, two of whom helped with capture because a homeowner was himself armed.  This article is from the web copy of a local paper:

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. >> Two escaped inmates sought in the killings of two guards on a Georgia prison bus were captured after a chase and being held at gunpoint by a rural Tennessee homeowner whose vehicle they were trying to steal, authorities said.

Donnie Rowe and Ricky Dubose were apprehended Thursday in the rural community of Christiana, Tennessee, ending a multi-state manhunt that began Tuesday morning.

“True bravery is what’s caused us to stand before you tonight to talk about a successful capture instead of a tragic incident,” Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Director Mark Gwyn said at a news conference. “So I’m totally grateful to everyone involved.”

Earlier in the day, police in nearby Shelbyville had responded to a call about a home invasion, where a couple had been held captive, Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Nelly Miles said.

The suspects fled in the couple’s vehicle and fired on sheriff’s deputies chasing them on Interstate 24 about 50 miles (80 kilometers) southeast of Nashville, Tennessee Highway Patrol spokesman Lt. Bill Miller said. Rutherford County Sheriff Michael Fitzhugh said his deputies did not return fire and none of them was injured.

The trooper said the homeowner looked outside and saw the two allegedly trying to steal his car. The man held the two at gunpoint with a neighbor he called for help until the sheriff’s department could get there to arrest the fugitives.

Georgia Department of Corrections Commissioner Greg Dozier said in a news release that he was relieved the two inmates were captured and no longer a threat to the public.

“They will be brought to justice swiftly for their heinous crime against our officers,” he said, also expressing gratitude to all of the law enforcement officers who provided support and assistance in the search for the two men.casket

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal applauded the “tireless efforts” of law enforcement but also turned his thoughts to the families of the two officers, saying their pain remains.

“We will do everything in our power to support their loved ones, and we will not forget their sacrifice and service,” Deal said.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Josh DeVine said the bureau’s agents will take part in processing the scene.

The two men had been on the run since early Tuesday, when they are accused of having killed Sgt. Christopher Monica and Sgt. Curtis Billue.

The two inmates overpowered and disarmed the guards on a bus about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday as 33 inmates were being driven between prisons, authorities have said. One of them fatally shot both guards, and then they jumped out of the bus and carjacked a driver who happened to pull up behind them on state Highway 16 in Putnam County, southeast of Atlanta, authorities said.

The two inmates then fled in the stolen Honda Civic and drove about 25 miles (40 kilometers) north to Madison, where they ransacked a home, stealing food and clothes and leaving their prison uniforms behind around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. old couple

Late Tuesday night, about 12 hours after the home burglary, the pair stole a Ford pickup truck from a rock quarry about 9 miles (14.5 kilometers) from the burglarized home when the trail had gone cold.

The FBI announced a tip line and said pictures of the men and information about a $130,000 reward would appear on billboards in multiple states. TBI’s Gwyn said Thursday he wasn’t sure who would collect the reward.

Authorities warned that the men, who had escaped with the guards’ 9 mm pistols, were considered very dangerous. Gwyn said investigators believe both weapons have been found at the site where the men crashed the vehicle.

Monica and Billue were transfer sergeants at Baldwin State Prison. Monica had been with the Georgia Department of Corrections since October 2009 and Billue since July 2007.

Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills said the escaped inmates had been inside a secured area of the bus. He said he didn’t know how they got through the locked cage to overpower the guards.

Protocol is to have two armed corrections officers on the bus, but the officers don’t wear bullet-proof vests during transfers, Dozier said.

Both escapees were serving sentences for armed robbery and other crimes. The Department of Corrections said Rowe, 43, had been serving life without parole since 2002, and Dubose, 24, began a 20-year sentence in 2015.

Associated Press writers Russ Bynum in Savannah, Georgia, and Adrian Sainz in Memphis, Tennessee, contributed to this report.  – AP

……Had bleeding heart liberals not had misguided compassion on such a grand scale in questioning the wisdom of the death penalty for murder and violent crimes, these two policemen would still be with their families. I believe it is time to re-instate the death penalty. I understand the reluctance some may have had in the past about the possibility of making a mistake in sending an innocent man to the chamber but that is no longer the case now that we have DNA.

For additional reasoning on these points please see other articles on the “death penalty”, including “eye for eye, tooth for tooth”  at  under category DEATH PENALTY titled ‘Eye for Eye, Tooth for Tooth’ which outlines both restrictive and permissive reasoning

…..Thanks for reading, and for listening and thinking

Political Hate Rhetoric Was Started by Liberals in 2004

In these years of 2016/2017 there seems to be a campaign against policemen with hatred spewing in the streets and the media. My mind goes back to a post from 2011,  re-posted in 2013, re-posted now in 2017. I wondered then, and I ask now:

Where were, where ARE the conservatives who have not yet viewed these books as HATE SPEECH and used their own HATE CRIMES laws, against them?

In view of today’s news, these past posts may seem even a bit prophetic. See what you think:

2013: In view of the Boston Marathon senseless bombings which killed and maimed many, it is time to re-post here from February 2011 the article on Hate Rhetoric. Thank you for reading, listening and thinking…

Political Hate Rhetoric Was Started by Liberals in 2004

It appears that the liberal controlled media are guilty of flame throwing at the right; remember it is the liberal democrats who a few years back put out the books which planted seeds of hate speech with multiple relentless books with the word “hate” in the titles:

The titles of those books by liberals guilty of planting seeds of hate and blame are:  The I HATE SERIES:   I HATE : Coulter; O’Reilly; i HATE Limbaugh, M.Savage; i HATE Ashcroft; Condie Rice; The Hannity Reader; published by Thunders Mouth Press, and Da Capo Press, edited by Clint Willis.  Gee, the name Clint Willis has a familiar ring to it …?  These books were not published by the Right Wing.

The liberals initiated and publicized the mind set of hate.   These book were found in Barnes and Noble in ’04 and may still be found on the internet.

History proves– When hate campaigns against a current government are initiated, that Nation is being set up as a prime target to receive a dictatorship.

The blackbird of hate sent out by the liberal left found no acceptable place to perch on the right wingers, and the bird, sent out by them, came back to haunt them in Arizona.  (with the shooting of Gabby Giffords, one of their own)

People often accuse others of the things of which they themselves are guilty. And Hillary’s charge of the Arizona shootings being an act of political hatred seems to imply that she understands hatred,  which to my mind, and to many others, the memory arises of the question “Whatever Happened to Vince Foster”.

Tougher guns laws are NOT the answer.  Only criminals commit crime,  licensed gun owners do not. Crimes can be committed with any number of objects used as weapons. More licensed citizen gun owners is what actually deters crime.  Liberals instilling hate can cause hate crimes. It is the attitude behind the person.

Obviously Congress doesn’t think less guns is the answer because it was heard on the news, shortly after the Arizona event, that congress was/is thinking of passing a bill to allow congress to pack heat on the hill – for protection.  Enter double standards.

Rosie O’Donnell was strongly vocal against gun rights; however, she herself had armed body guards for her own children.  Double standards.

The mindset that politicians can live by separate rules is a detriment to a free society.

Also, individual responsibility is wanting in the health industry:  it seems no one wants to be the one to declare someone dangerous in spite of tests which reveal it.  How about the VA.TECH mass murderer, he underwent psych tests where no one wanted to say that he needed monitoring. The same with the Fort Hood mass murderer problem, which is gaining ink again at this time in 2011.

Political hate was initiated in 2004 by the liberal left with books instilling hate of the right.  (Again: Why weren’t these, why AREN’T these cited as HATE SPEECH contributing to HATE CRIMES?) It could be these books which are to blame for the mental attitude of the January 8, 2011 shooter in Arizona who wounded Congresswoman Gabby Giffords.  Why?  Because the books from 2004 had time to steep and boil, to create and feed such an attitude of hatred, allowing years for the building of the courage it took to perpetrate such crimes.   Hunting is NOT the issue, vehement hatred is the issue, born and fed by the liberals. In these days of hate crimes and hate speech, the topic of these books should be highly questioned. Where does one draw the line between hate speech and hate print, and whom does it protect?

Look, Listen & Think

It appears that the liberal controlled media are guilty of flame throwing at the right; remember it is the liberal democrats who a few years back put out the books; who planted seeds of hate speech with multiple relentless hate campaigns with the word “hate” in the titles:

The titles of those books by liberals guilty of planting seeds of hate and blame are:  The I HATE SERIES:   I HATE : Coulter; O’Reilly; Limbaugh, M.Savitch; Ashcroft; Condie Rice; The Hannity Reader; published by Thunders Mouth Press, and Da Capo Press, edited by Clint Willis.  Gee, the name Clint Willis has a familiar ring to it – could it possibly sound like Clinton, William?  These books were not published by the Right Wing.  The liberals initiated and publicized the mind set of hate.   These book were found in Barnes and Noble in ’04 and may still be found on the internet.

If you are subscribed to The Proverbs 120 Column articles, you’ve already seen this; It is shared here for those who are subscribed only to the secular site; but I deemed it worthy to share here:  Please enjoy and may your heart be warmed and your spirit inspired:

What?  You say how can God know where you are at all times, does He really keep track of you?

Does your GPS keep track of you and know where you are at all times?

How can God hear me, or you, when we call, with so many people on earth?

Does a smart phone hear you when you call…and even give answers to a myriad of questions instantly?

Look in any parking lot, your key fob does not open or start anyone else’s car.

Again in any parking lot or large crowd, see how many cell phones are in operation yet no signals get mixed up.

Can God do any less, we ask?
