Approving questionable practices is costly.

Three hiker- climbers died on Mt. Hood in 2006.

The questions that lingered in people’s minds were two fold.

Ques. Why would the climbers have gone so late in the season 

Ans.  They went because they wanted to go, and they wanted challenge.

Q. Should the state deny permission to go when conditions were not right? (This question was asked by a reporter covering the story. And the answer below is the kind of answer given by those in authority at the site on Dec. 19, 2006)

A.   ‘If the state permits someone to go and if something happens, the weather gets bad or something happens, the state would get sued and the taxpayers would pay. The best they could do, they said, was to require that all climbers carry a GPS system with them; but to grant permission would be to assume liability.’

To states authorizing same-sex unions of any kind, I repeat: “Take heed.”  You could be held liable for health costs and possible wrongful death lawsuits because of the assumption of safety which goes when permission is granted.  In addition, state health departments know in advance what ‘risky behavior’ is. To sanction such is to put your state taxpayers in a position of fiscal liability.  The authorities at Mt. Hood understand this principle.

Tobacco companies were successfully sued for astronomical amounts because they advertised for public use their product which was proven to be physically harmful to many.  In other words, they remained silent on its dangers.  They were not against smokers, but are they for smokers?

MacDonalds was sued for injury because coffee was too hot; and now there is a case pending because their food causes obesity in vulnerable youth.

Think of the punitive damages, even for wrongful death by Aids for states who approve an activity without warning of the dangers of that activity. The scenario would be no different from the scenario established in the asbestos cases and successful cases against  tobacco companies, gun companies, breast implant companies, pharmaceutical companies, etc.  If states remain silent on known but hidden dangers, states who grant approval run the risk of being ‘set up’ for mass torts later, charging non-disclosure of hidden dangers.

If, however, the state is sovereign and cannot be sued as in ‘the king can do no wrong’, then we are equally being set up, because that is the type of government from which many people sought relief and immigrated to America. 

Lesson learned: A half truth is still a lie. And, people who know better, need to tell  the whole truth.   Paul Harvey says:  “And now you know the REST of the story”.   Lawyers and plaintiffs, Go to it!

Pride First of the 7 Capital Sins; or the 7 Deadly Sins

Again we will be told that June is Gay Pride month. In addition to October being dubbed ‘coming out’ month, I can see the homosexual agenda trying to adopt all twelve months soon. The fact that a vocal minority has dubbed June ‘pride’ month should tell us another story aside and apart from the word ‘gay’.

It is pretty common knowledge that PRIDE is the capital sin. Should that fact be overlooked?

Is there anyone reading this who can name the seven capital sins which, for good reason, are also known as the “seven deadly sins”?

Of those who can, congratulations to you!

Of those who cannot here is the list::  Pride, Lust, Envy, Anger, Covetousness, Avarice (Greed), Laziness (sloth), Gluttony.  These are the seven deadly sins. Many deal with attitude. The attitude leads to sin.

Most people can usually start the recitation with the first and greatest – that sin for which Lucifer was cast out of heaven ‑ PRIDE.

We know that gluttony leads to death. We know anger can lead to death. We know lust can lead to death (S.T.D’s  A.I.D.S.).  How soon can we expect to see a National Anger month?

But it is lesser known that Sodom & Gomorrah were destroyed, not just for sodomy (lust), but also for pride, gluttony and self-centeredness (covetousness), as documented in the Holy Scriptures in the book of Ezekiel chapter 16, verses 49‑50: “Behold this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: Pride, overabundance of food (gluttony), prosperous ease (covetousness) and idleness (laziness) were hers; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy (self centeredness) And they were haughty and committed abominable offense before Me, (gay pride parades?) therefore I removed them when I saw it and I saw fit.” (AMP)

“Sodom was an example unto those that after should live ungodly” (2 Peter 2:6 KJV).  This can be construed as a warning, and well should be by wise, understanding, and careful people.

It is not enough to claim that Jesus loves us; we must prove to the Father who sent Jesus for us, that we return that love to the Father through Jesus. Obedience proves this to Him.  Do you think adulterers, liars, gluttons, the greedy, the envious, sodomites, or murders are obedient or disobedient to God?  We should all be familiar with the laws of cause and effect.  Proud people don’t need our approval, they need our prayers.  Perhaps June should be better dubbed ‘pray for a gay’ month.

The Holy Scriptures further address ‘gay pride’: “The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe unto them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.”  Isaiah 3:9 NIV

Michael Sam’s Football ‘Coming Out’ Statement

Should Michael Sam’s Football ‘Coming Out’ Statement be Celebrated? – Mary La Clair  670 words In early February 2014, a currently robust football player, Michael Sam, declared openly, to the news media, prior to the NFL draft, that he was ‘gay’  a/k/a ‘homosexual’. Why did he choose to broadcast this just prior to the NFL draft?  Did he think that that statement would make him a ‘shoe in’ for the team? His statement that he wants to be considered solely for his playing ability is contradictory, an oxymoron. Could it be that he was looking for a reason to be selected as a minority for the NFL; or to have an excuse to plead ‘homophobia’ if he is not selected?

It certainly makes this writer wonder.  Will sports stadiums be required to have a private locker room for declared homosexuals?  Some players have already expressed discomfort with the idea of sharing showers with an admitted homosexual. I believe that straights need just as much recognized protection in cases like this. Without a counter balance, recognized protection can be a problem. Approval can be a problem. Take some lessons from Mt. Hood: Some mountain climbers decided they wanted to climb Mt. Hood early in December 2006. They ran into problems and died on the mountain, unable to be rescued. Question:  Why would the climbers have gone so late in the season? Answer:  They went because they wanted to go, and they wanted challenge. In addition, state health departments know in advance what ‘risky behavior’  is.  For anyone to sanction such is to put state taxpayers of states who approve, or an organization, in a position of fiscal liability. Authorities at Mt. Hood understand this principle. But it is not only Mt. Hood authorities who understand this principle. History proves that we should also know it. Responsibility, it seems has been shifted FROM the people who exercise their right of free choice TO the people who approve, yet conceal the harm which may result, from that free choice.

Same went for gun companies and breast implant companies; and, the same still goes for pharmaceutical companies with products with hidden dangers yet which offer these things in an approving manner. So, if NFL approves, or by inaction does not DIS-approve, could it be possible that they might be sued by a player, or players, who claim to have contracted STD or AIDS in a locker-room encounter of any kind, because those in authority disregarded some known and implied health dangers, thereby opening others to endangerment? Certainly food for thought…and should be seriously considered.

THE BIG ‘KISS’ at Chick-Fil-A

I recall peaceful R-T-L  demonstrators getting arrested in front of abortion clinics and sent to jail for nothing more than demonstrating.

If the pro-gay crowd even pickets or stages the BIG KISS at tables inside or outside at Chick-Fil-A or any other religious establishment on August 3rd or any other time, I would consider this equal to RTL members picketing. I expect the gays to be guilty of’disturbing the peace’ in such a way where they would need likewise to be arrested.  There are two sides to every coin and rules which fit one necessarily fit the other.

When it comes to arrests for hate crimes, it is time to give gays a dose of their own medicine.  Hate crimes do not just protect homosexuals, they will work for anyone and it is time they be initiated against those who initiated the bill when they themselves become guilty of demonstrating hate. By the definitions of hate which they set up, the gays are guilty of hate crimes themselves against Christians.

If police can carry off Right to Lifers for demonstration, then gays can be carried off for like demonstration, because gays are doing it to clearly irritate and carry out hatred against those who disagree with them by simply donating to causes which do not favor them.  How un-American.  Donating to a cause is hate?  Then what is entering someone elses establishment with intent to anger them?  It is worse than hate, it might even fit the legal definition of  ‘assault’ and ‘menacing’ under Tort Law.  Check PROSSER ON TORTS.

I think gays who hate Chick-Fil-A should be charged with hate crimes on the premises.  They CAN go other places to eat. But they wish to demonstrate hate at THIS place, and they should be arrested on the same grounds that RTL people were arrested in front of abortion clinics.

When gay/lesbian groups fought against legal prejudice, they said that they only wanted acceptance as human beings, aside and apart from their sexual preferences. “Keep the state out of our bedrooms!” was their mantra.

However, during the gay Olympics, they bring their sexual behaviour to the streets – and
again in Disneyland the first week in June – and yet again a few weeks later they bring their sex preference out to the streets of NYC for their infamous parade. Their pain still pursues them, despite their attaining the long coveted official minority status. This status did not bring the peace they thought it would, so now they open their ‘private’ bedrooms and bring their activity to the streets, seeking our approval of their behaviour as well!

Their pain pursues them in spite of obtaining minority status. Give some people an
inch and they will take a mile. Do they believe their consciences will be eased if they convince us to approve their practices, enlisting us to join them? Pain will only increase as long as God’s design is violated. And NO! We will not approve! To do so is permitting them to force us to violate and forego our own morals and standards, while seeking free exercise of their own immorality for themselves and our society.

Ask anyone who has been through a divorce if the open approval of, or the high incidence of divorce rates has alleviated their pain. No, the pain is still very real, despite approval and common occurrences. Neither will open approval or the growing ranks of homosexuals remove the pain of those who practice this sinful “alternative deathstyle.”
Their wrong doing and society’s unbeneficial approval will only compound the consequences for all.

God does not hate them, and neither should we. God does hate their
actions/behaviour (sin). Since it is the sin itself which God hates, and not
people, it is possible that God hates sodomous (sinful) acts within a heterosexual marriage as well! He calls it whoremongering! (and lust!) And lest any become self-righteous, we should remember that, the greedy person, the liar, the perjurer, the homosexual, the proud, the glutton, the drunkard, the adulterer, etc… are all equally sinners in His sight. One’s god may be sex; another’s god -money; another’s god – food and drink; another’s god – self.  None of these will save from hell. However, God has made provision for our past sin – Jesus Christ! And He has made provision for power to abandon future sin – the Holy Spirit! God tolerates no rivals. We pass this way but once. Our attitudes here determine where we will spend eternity. If we refuse His loving provision(s) for our righteousness here on earth, then He is right and just to refuse us on that day. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah?  By the way, has anyone been keeping score on natural disasters lately? Could these be the evidence of the Power of a Righteous and a Provoked God?

Why do they seek our approval? Is it because they know they are doing wrong? Homosexuals do not need our approval or sympathy; they need our loving prayers! They need to be rescued from the sorrow that chases them, the peace that eludes them. To
disregard their need for prayer will only prolong their pain now, and assure it
in eternity. If you love these people, which way will you choose to help them?
By temporary, vain approval – or by diligent, effective prayer, and helping
them to make right choices?

Should we treat a murderer, a perjurer, a drunkard, a greedy thief, in the same way
pro-gay groups wish us to treat their members – with approval, understanding
and acceptance of the deed? Of course not! Approving of homosexual acts,
whether homosexual or heterosexual, puts public health at risk by spreading the
fatal disease of AIDS. Health departments list it as risky behavior, and a
danger to both society and health care units.                      – end
